Pamper Evening Routine

Hello Everyone. I currently have the afternoon off work and decided that I would have a pamper night so I thought I would take some pictures and share with you all my typical pamper routine. I've been under the weather this past week so figured I was due a pamper. If you'd like to see what I get up to on a Pamper evening carry on reading...

1. Remove Makeup

I don't know about you but my favorite part of the day is removing my makeup. Afterwards I just feel so clean and refreshed so for my first cleanse I use the Emma Hardie Cleasing Balm. To remove all my makeup I take a small amount of the balm onto my dry hands and apply it to my skin. As you massage it in it turns into an oil and any makeup you had on will just dissolve. I then take a warm muslin cloth and gently wipe away.

2. Run a Bath & Use Bath Bomb

Whilst I'm cleansing my skin I'll allow the bath to run and then I'll add a lush bath bomb. On this particular evening I used 'Think Pink' which is a sweet floral scent that leaves the whole bathroom smelling beautiful. As it dissolves it releases a small amount of pink confetti that gradually disappears in the water.

3. Music

When I'm in the bath I always HAVE to listen to music. It's the perfect time for me to belt out all my favourite Whitney and Beyonce tracks. However, my current favourite albums are are One Direction 'Made in the AM', Demi Lovato 'Confident' and Little Mix 'Get Weird'.

4. Apply Face Mask

Now my bath is running and I've got my music on I'll apply a face mask. Today I used the Soap&Glory 'THE FAB PORE' deep cleansing facial mask. This helps to unclog pores, detox the face and prevent blemishes from occurring. It has a refreshing minty scent and after 15 minutes leaves my skin feeling soft and revitalised.

5. Body Scrub

Whilsts my face mask is doing It's job I get into the bath and begin my routine. Firstly I'll give my skin an exfoliate. I use the Soap&Glory 'Flake Away Body Polish' which leaves my skin feeling smooth and clean.

6. Body Wash

Moving on, I wash my body with the Soap&Glory 'Sugar Crush Body Wash' which has a refreshing sweet lime scent. And finally before I get out the bath I'll remove my face mask with a warm muslin cloth.

7. Moisturize

Once I'm out of the bath I'll moisturise my skin. I can be quite lazy with moisturising my body so on a pamper evening i like to lather my skin in a body butter. Today I used the Body Shop Shea Body Butter which has a beautiful scent and leaves me skin smooth, soft and hydrated.

8. Pajamas & Dressing Gown

I'm never fully relaxed until I'm comfortable and cosy in my Pajamas and dressing gown. So once my moisturizer has dried and fully sunk into my skin I'll get dressed and move onto my skin care.

9. Skincare

I have posted my current evening skincare routine so I'm only going to touch on it lightly. After my pre-cleanse I go in with the 'Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish' and apply that to my face and massage in circular motions and then remove it with a Muslin cloth. Moving on, I spritz my face with the 'Body Shop Vitamin E spray' to give my skin a boost of moisture and then I'll exfoliate and tone my skin with the 'First Aid Beauty Facial Radiance Pads'. Finally I'll apply a small amount of the 'Body Shop Vitamin E Eye Cream' under my eyes and Moisturise my face with the 'Yes to Carrots Intense Hydration Night Cream' And then my skincare is complete.

10. Snacks

Now is the perfect time to gather all my favourite foods and binge. On this particular Pamper Evening I chose a donut however some other favourites include; Dairy Milk Oreo Chocolate, Chocolate Chip Muffins and Pringles (all very healthy I know).

11. Netflix & Nails (File and Hand Cream)

I'm currently watching 'Prison Break' and am absolutely gripped; It's soon become one of my favourite shows.  But I've also been enjoying PLL and Keeping Up with the Kardashians. Whilsts watching TV I like to give my nails a seeing to. I'll grab a nail file and shape my nails and then apply some hand cream. Other times I'll focus on my feet (especially after a hard days work) and will file them and apply the 'Soap&Glory Heel Genius Foot Cream'. On this particular occasion I also painted my toes with the China Glaze paint in 'Petal to the metal'. Then I feel fully pampered and relaxed.

That concludes my Evening Pamper Routine. What do you do on your pamper nights, let me know in the comments?

Rose Gold Valentines Makeup

As Valentines is soon approaching I thought I would share with you all my make-up look for the day. I recently purchased the Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette and thought the shades were very appropriate for this particular holiday so I based my entire look around my rose gold eyes.

Products:

1. To begin this look I prepped my skin with the Maybelline Baby Skin Instant Fatigue Blur Primer. I applied this with my fingers and blended it all over my face. This product smooths the skin and give it a healthy glow.

2. Moving onto foundation. Today I used the Nars All Day Luminous Weightless Foundation and applied it to my face with the real technique buffing brush. This gives me great coverage and leaves a semi-matte finish. As the name suggests it most definitely feels weightless on the skin and Mont Blanc is my perfect shade.
3. Next I applied concealer; for this look I used the Clarins Instant Concealer. This gives good coverage and blends beautifully under the eyes without creasing. It covers dark circles well and a little bit goes a long way.
4. Continuing on I set my base make-up with the MAC studio fix powder. This powder gives my skin an airbrushed affect without looking cakey. It lasts well throughout the day and has soon become my holy grail.
5. After that, I left the skin and begin on my eyes. Firstly I applied the MAC paint pot in Painterly. This paint pot ensures that my eye-shadow wear all day and helps them to blend smoothly.
6. Using the Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette I set my primer with the Shade 'Strange'. Moving onto the eye-shadow look I began with 'Limit' as my transition shade and blended that all through my crease with a Zoeva 224 Brush. I then took 'Nooner' and ran that through the crease with the same brush. Using my ring finger I placed 'Liar' all over the lid. To deepen my outer corner I took a mixture of 'Darkside' and ' Blackheart' and blended them both using the Zoeva 231 Brush.
7. Moving on the lower lashline. I applied the Urban Decay Eye Pencil in Perversion in my waterline. I then took 'Nooner' and blended that all the way from the outer corner to the inner corner of my lash line with the Real Techniques accent brush. I then darkened the outer corner of the lashline with 'Blackheart'.
8. Concluding the eyes I finished off with the Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara; I applied it on both my top and bottom lashes. This product makes my lashes appear full, volumized and long.
9. Continuing on with the face, I bronzed my cheeks, jawline and temples with the Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Matte Bronzer.
10. I then Contoured and highlighted with the Charlotte Tilbury FilmStar Bronze & Glow.
11. I added some colour to my cheeks by applying the Too Faced Sweetheart blush in the shade Candy Glow.
12. Finally to conclude this look I applied the Sleek Lip Gloss in Angel Falls all over my lips to leave a beautiful pink shine. This product is creamy and applies beautifully without being sticky.

I hope you enjoyed this post and that you all have a wonderful Valentines day. Let me know in the comments If you like these makeup tutorials and I will do more in the future.

Valentine's Gift Guide 2016 | For Her

It's that time of year again when your man is meant to be the most romantic out of the whole year (shouldn't that be everyday though?). Anyhow I've put together a selection of gift ideas for Valentine's Day 2016.

Ariana Grande 'ARI' Perfume 100ml- £40
This perfume has been on my wishlist for a while and everytime I go into any beauty store I always give myself a spritz. The scent is fruity and feminine with a hit of marshmallow and the packaging is absolutely stunning. Any girl who likes a sweet smell will love this fragrance.
In the past few months I have fallen in love with Zoeva as a brand and their brushes are of an unbelievable quality for the price. This set includes all the brushes you need to apply all your face products; It even comes with a sleek faux leather pouch which makes this collection great for travel. Any Makeup brush addict like myself would be overjoyed to receive this on valentines day.

This is the perfect luxury product to buy any makeup addict. Firstly, the lipstick itself is formulated beautifully with a velvety smooth texture and moisturises the lips as you wear it.Not to mention it's packaged in a stunning rose gold case. Personally I would be very happy to be gifted this on Valentines day and I think any lipstick lover would be too.

For a lady that loves jewelry this is a great pick. It's has rose gold plated sterling silver with glass crystals which looks simply beautiful. These style of bracelets are very popular this season any I think any accessory lover would be pleased with this present.

I think any girl would be delighted to receive a present from Ted Baker as the whole brand is outstanding. Their makeup bags are particularly stunning and this pink and rose gold one is my favourite. This exact bag is currently on sale on the Ted Baker Website so I may have to treat myself!

I always think Pajamas are a great gift to receive as they aren't something you tend to buy yourself. These Victoria's Secret striped pajamas have been on my wishlist for ages and I think any girl who loves PINK would be overjoyed to be given these.

Essie Lux Duo a Sprinkle in Pink- £12.99

Nail polish is also a great gift to receive and these Essie Polish duos are great value for money. This particular set is my favourite as the shades are very appropriate for both Valentines and the upcoming Spring season.

For a girl who likes to pamper this is a great gift set. I mean who wouldn't like to receive a lush gift set? This includes a great selection of pampering products to make any girl feel beautiful.
This is the latest palette from Too Faced and any beauty lover would be extremely happy to receive this on valentines day. The pigmentation is perfect and there's a great shade selection. Not to mention the packaging is very valentines appropriate and it smells like chocolate.

These are some of my favourites, what's on your list? Let me know in the comments.

My At-Home Manicure Routine

Today I thought I would put together a step by step guide on how I give myself a manicure at home. Before I begin I'd just like to mention that I am in no way a professional and have only had a salon manicure a couple of times in my life. With that in mind, here's my typical routine for a one colour manicure.

Here's what you will need:

Nail Polish Remover
Cotton Pads
Nail File
Cuticle Cream
Cuticle Nipper
Cuticle Pusher
Hand/Nail Cream
Base Coat
Nail Colour
Top Coat

1. Remove Polish
Firstly, take some nail polish remover on a cotton top and wipe over all your nails. This step is important to make sure you have completely removed the remnants of your previous manicure.
2. File & Shape
With a nail file, smooth away the edge of your nail, and model them to your favourite shape. Move your nail file in one direction and avoid filing in a 'back and forth' sawing motion.

3. Soften Cuticle
Apply and massage a cuticle cream or oil onto the cuticle to soften them. An optional step is to soak your nails in warm water for a few minutes.

4. Push Back & Remove Cuticle
Using an orange stick or cuticle pusher gently push back the cuticle and then using cuticle nippers remove any access cuticle.

5. Apply Hand Cream
Before beginning the painting apply a small amount of hand cream onto your hands and take some time to massage it in. This will add a boost of moisture and will keep your hands feeling and looking younger, softer and smoother.

6. Prep your Nails
Next up, apply nail varnish remover onto a cotton pad and swipe over each nail to remove any oils which may prevent the polish from applying as well.

7.Apply Base Coat
Then take your favorite base coat and apply a thin layer to the nail. This step is important to ensure that the polish you apply after doesn't stain the nail and it acts as a barrier to protect the nails from any damage that the polish may create.

7. Apply Nail Colour
Now for the best part, Applying your nail colour. This step obviously depends on personal choice as to what shade you want to apply. For this manicure I used Essie 'Ballet Slippers' however I tend to mix it up all the time.

8. Apply Top Coat
For the final layer apply a top coat, this acts as a protective barrier to  prevent the nail polish from fading or chipping and will give it a long lasting shine.

That concludes my at home manicure routine, tell me about yours in the comments below.
