Dressing Room Tour

Hi Everyone, welcome back to my blog. Today I have a short but sweet post for you. Craig and I have just finished decorating our dressing room and today I wanted you show you the finished result. 

It has always been my dream as a little girl to have my own walk-in-wardrobe/ dressing room and buying this house has allowed for that dream to come true. I knew that I wanted open plan wardrobes so you could see all of our clothes, which gives the room a boutique feel. So, we opted for the Ikea pax wardrobes as you can customise the compartments and size of the wardrobes. Naturally I gave myself more space over craig but I am so pleased with how it turned out. 

We were lucky that the wardrobes we're delivered a few days after we completed, back in December and Craig and his dad worked extremely hard building these. I am proud to say that I did assist and was able to build one drawer by myself in the end.  

Having the clothes all on show means that I have to keep my wardrobe organised at all times which is easy for me but not so much for Craig, however I am happy to take control of the dressing room and keep everything in it's place. The first time I unpacked our clothes and put everything away was so therapeutic and I am quite particular where everything goes once we hang the clothes back up afte a wash load. It’s the little things in the life that make me happy...

Once again, as the wardrobe is an open plan I knew I wanted to purchase some athletically pleasing hangers so I chose a nude and gold colour for myself and black for Craig. Overall I am thrilled with the finished result of the wardrobes and I’m overjoyed that we decided on the pax system. 

I knew that since the wardrobes were white I wanted to have a matching dressing table area at the other side of the room therefore I chose to stick with products from Ikea. Being a lover of beauty products it was important to me that I had plenty of drawer and table top space for my makeup. Along with having the open plan wardrobe I knew that I would have loved to get a Hollywood mirror, although when looking

online we saw that they were extortionately priced. Whilst shopping in Ikea we sawa show room with a DIY Hollywood mirror and it looked absolutely perfect, and at a fraction of the price.ALong with my makeup mirror I chose to have a full length mirror to use when picking an outfit, which we have placed next to the dressing table. This huge mirror was from Ikea and is the perfect finishing touch to the room.The next step was styling the dressing table. I wanted to tie in colours such as gold, nude and black and keep the desk looking clear and simple. I chose to display a few items of makeup on top along with a bit of greenery to brighten things up a little. Finally, I purchased a couple prints from desenio and then the room was complete. I cannot express how happy I am to have my dream dressing room. It's the perfect space to get ready in and I'm so grateful that we were able to create the room I have always wanted.

Getting a Professional Facial | The Benefits

What are the benefits of getting a professional facial from a skincare expert?

Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter | Review

Hi Everyone, 

Whilst in Paris we made a trip to Sephora to browse their selection of products and whilst at the Charlotte Tilbury counter I spotted the Hollywood Flawless Filter. I have quite the collection of Charlotte Tilbury products already and knowing that everything I have previously tried from her range I have loved, I thought I would pick this product up to give it a go. 

Upon purchase I assumed that this product would be a light coverage foundation however it doesn’t necessarily fit into that foundation category, according to it’s description. It is described as a complexion enhancing illuminating primer and in all honesty it does exactly that but with added coverage, which is why I have been using it as my foundation.
For my normal to dry skin type this product is perfect for winter when I want a healthy dewy look that isn’t too heavy, like fuller coverage foundations can be. It makes the skin feel plumped, radiant and evens out any imperfections, whilst still looking natural. 
In terms of the finish, it feels juicy and hydrating but without being greasy. I do feel this product is best suited to someone with a dry skin as the glossy look might be too much for an oily complexion. 
I went for shade one however as it is not advertised as a foundation the shade range isn’t very precise. As it’s technically a primer it doesn’t need a whole lot of blending into the hair line however because of the coverage it does need somewhat blending to prevent leaving marks or streaks behind. I used this product with a beauty blender and follow up with a concealer for further coverage under the eyes and on any blemishes. Charlotte Tilbury herself recommends using this product over foundation on the high points of the face to highlight which would be great for an oiler skin as you can mattify the oily areas and highlight where needed. 

All in all, this product to me is like glow in a bottle. It’s not full coverage, your skin still looks natural  but slightly perfected. So for ladies who like a matte finish this product is not for you, but my glowy girls will love this!

Face Halo | First Impressions

Hey everyone, I'm back today with a first impressions post for you. 
I recently popped into Boots to have a sneaky look at their Christmas gifts and stumbled across the Face Halo. I'd never seen them in store before and had only heard about them through Chloe promoting her product on her Instagram.
This 'game-changing', echo friendly sponge is said to remove all your makeup by simply adding water and when hearing this my first thought was "How can a fluffy pad remove all makeup including stubborn mascara, with only water?". I wondered whether it was all a gimmick and something that had just been hyped about, so for that reason i had to give it a try.
So, how does it work? Adding water to the pad helps loosen your makeup allowing the 'halotech fibre strands' to reach deep into your pores and remove and trap makeup. This sponge is designed to be used gently on the skin meaning there is no need to rub or scrub however for heavier eye makeup you can hold the pad over the eyes for 10 seconds to break down the product. 
I paid £7 for one pad which I thought wasn't too bad since they claim you can get two hundred uses out of one product. They recommend that after every use you hand wash with soap and water and when cleaning your Face Halo in the washing machine you add it in with similar colours.

After a long day of working with a full face of makeup on, i arrived home and decided it was time to test out my Face Halo. After a few swipes I was pleasantly surprised! For some strange reason i was expecting the product not to work however it certainly removed my makeup and did it gently without irritating the skin. The pad soon went from a bright white to a shade of brown so i turned the pad over and used the clean side to test if there was any makeup left on my skin. The Face Halo did an extremely good job at removing makeup and works well as a quick fix in the evening, but according to the Face Halo there is no need to cleanse afterwards. As a beauty therapist i understand the importance of thoroughly cleansing the skin so i made sure to follow up with my facial wash afterwards. I feel that this product is a great alternative to the dreaded makeup wipes that millions of women still use but I would never use the Face Halo as my only cleanse. I think Chloe has created something quite revolutionary and i feel this product should be spoken about more. For those who find makeup wipes 'easier' than cleansing with a product and wash cloth, the Face Halo is a much better alternative. It's chemical free so wont dry the skin out as makeup wipes do and it would stop us throwing away billions of wipes a year (which take 100 years to decompose). 

My final thoughts?
I enjoyed using this product and will continue to use it as my first cleanse as it works wonders removing makeup. I think the Face Halo is ideal for travel or after a night out and I would absolutely recommend that if you haven't tried it that you give it a go.

Elemis Superfood Oil | Product Review

The Elemis Superfood Facial Oil has been raved about for the longest time and since recently discovering Elemis products and doing some research I knew from my findings that this product in particular was one that I had to try. But the question is, is it truly worth the hype?

Facial oils are a must-have in my skincare routine especially this time of year as my skin can begin to feel much drier. The ingredients in this particular oil seemed impressive which was one of the reasons I was so eager to try it. It contains ingredients like flaxseed and broccoli which are known to seal in moisture within the skin. 
The one thing that stood out to me after first use was how glowy it made my skin feel after application and this has continued since using it. I prefer to use the oil during the evening however it can be used morning too. It applies smoothly, smells gorgeous and sinks into the skin quickly. 
If you're not using a facial oil in your routine and you're wondering whether to try one, now would be the time to do so with this oil. I always find that this time of year as it approaches Christmas my diet starts to plummet and that can take it's toll on my skin however this product is going to be my skin saviour. This product has 9 essential oils within it and it's packed with natural plant ingredients such as broccoli, cucumber oil, raddish, flax seed and macadamia oil therefore this oil gives my skin the luminosity and healthy dewy look that it needs. I have seen a huge improvement in the texture and appearance of my skin since using this product and can't wait to continue using and loving it. 

Is this oil suitable for you?

If your skin is feeling dull, lifeless, lacking nourishment and hydration you MUST try this product! You may be seeing the first signs of aging and your skin is lacking nutrients however with this oil your skin will be intoxicated with key omega and fatty acids to condition the skin. For those of you with oily skin do not feel that you need to shy away from this oil because of its hydrating properties as it can actually help to balance the oils in your skin so it's definitely worth a try.

Relax & Unwind | My Pamper Routine

Hi Everyone, 

After a long week at work, every once in a while I like to use my Sunday off to have a bit of a pamper day. I love to unwind, relax and have a bit of 'me' time. If you haven't had a bit of 'me' time recently, I would definitely recommend giving it a go. 


To kick off my day of pampering I like to indulge in a delicious breakfast. Whether this be in bed or at the kitchen table, I love to enjoy a homemade waffle, pancakes, muffins, sausages or some fruit. Once I'm feeling well nourished and full I will head into the bathroom and light some scented candles to set the mood and play some of my favourite music. Whilst soaking in the bath I will take the time to perform my full pamper routine of exfoliation, shaving, hair mask, face mask and finish with a body oil or moisturiser. I have always loved the Soap & Glory bath range, especially the Sugar Crush Body Scrub and Body Wash so I will normally use these products during my pamper day. 
After my bath I will head into my beauty room to blow dry and straighten my hair and then I will begin my skincare routine.

I have a few stand out/favourite products at the moment that I wanted to share with you, one of those being the Pixi Glow Tonic. This product helps to tone, firm and tighten the skin whilst also removing dead skin cells for healthier looking skin. I am a huge fan of the Ordinary products and I adore their Vitamin C which is a gentle serum that targets uneven skin tone, exfoliates the skin and helps to brighten. I am also really enjoying using the Dr Jart Ceramidin range which are encapsulated with ceramides to keep skin well hydrated for long periods of time. 

The next step of my routine is to put on some comfy clothing which will either be pyjamas or leggings and a slouchy top. Once I'm feeling cosy and snuggled the next step is to give my nails a good seeing too. I do have a post on my 'At Home Manicure Routine' if you would like more detail on exactly what I do to maintain my nails. Essentially I will file and smooth the nail, cuticle work, apply a gel polish and finish with hand cream. I like to have matching hands and toes, and if I'm feeling fancy I may even delve into some nail art.  

Once I'm all pampered out I will usually get into bed and watch some Netflix or YouTube, with my boyfriend. I take movie snacks very seriously, so for me this is the best time of the day. I will gather as many sweet treats as I can and enjoy my time relaxing at home.

Isle of Paradise Self Tanning Drops | Review

As Summer approaches us, there is nothing that gives you confidence like a glowing tan. I have tried every method of tanning such as self tan products like; lotions, gradual tanners, mousses and sprays. I've also had regular sprays tans and used sun beds however no-matter-what the tan never seems to work or stay in place on my face. 

After struggling for years to find the perfect facial tanning product I discovered the Isle of Paradise drops. These have been raved about on social media, so I decided to purchase the product and try it myself. I bought mine in store from Boots for £19.95, and on first impressions I like the overall appearance of the bottle and the price isn't too extortionate. The product is dispensed with a pipette and you simply add 1-12 drops (depending on the darkness you wish for) into your normal moisturiser and apply to the face. 

Isle of Paradise are a vegan, organic and cruelty free brand which I know appeals to a lot of people. The tans are formulated using ingredients such as chia seeds, avocado and coconut oils which makes them kind to the skin unlike other tans which can personally sink into my pores and break me out. They use colour correcting technology which is something I’ve never seen before in a tanning product. I use the Purple bottle for a dark tan however you can also get Peach for a light tan and Green for a medium colour. There's a flowery scent to this, which makes a pleasant difference to the usual biscuit smell.

Before my first application I made sure to exfoliate my face to buff away any dead skin and allow for a smooth application. I decided that I wanted to apply the product in the morning so that I could watch the process and see how quickly it develops. Although, the bottle does suggest to apply it before bed and allow it to develop overnight. I applied 8 drops into my Liz Earle moisturiser and mixed it together in my hands before applying directly onto my face. I know people like colour guides, which is something this product doesnt have but once you get used to it, it’s easy. This particular moisturiser needs a bit of help absorbing and rubbing into the skin so I made sure to be careful as i didn't want to risk getting streaks, especially on the neck. Lastly, I thoroughly washed my hands to avoid orange fingers. 

Throughout the day I continuously asked my boyfriend for his opinion on my facial tan and I gladly got his approval. After about 9 hours I washed my face and found myself not overly satisfied with the colour. So, when applying my night cream I decided to add a couple more drops (which took me up to 10 drops). In the morning I woke up to find the most dark and glowing tan of my life, so I just washed my face, applied some mascara and headed off to work. I will happily admit that I have never gotten so many compliments on my tan, almost every customer asked me if I had been on holiday. I take that as a compliment! Approximately 5 days later I found the tan to have faded completely which I believe to be a great amount of time considering the skincare products that I am constantly applying to my face.Before my next application I will follow the same steps by exfoliating beforehand just to ensure every trace of the tan is removed.

Overall, I am extremely happy with this purchase and recommend any fellow-facial-tanning-product-addicts give this one a go!

Beauty Therapy Course- The Trilogy

When I first started my journey into becoming a Beauty Therapist, a blog post like this would have been so helpful! So, I decided that after 3 years of hard work I could talk you through my journey to hopefully inspire and most importantly, educate any aspiring Beauty Therapists out there to know exactly what this course involves. So sit back, get a snack and prepare yourself for a long post....

It all began by applying to College through my Secondary School and I knew that I needed a grade C in English and Science to achieve a place on the course. I attended an interview date to meet my future tutors and it allowed us to get to know each other a little better. I remember being extremely nervous as I’d never had an interview before and went in not knowing what to expect. She asked me a few questions such as- “Tell me about yourself” and “Why do you want to be a beauty therapist?”. A few months passed, I had finished my GCSEs (with the grades I needed) and I had to order my uniform and kit online. When everything arrived it finally felt real and I was very much looking forward to this next chapter in my life.

I don’t have any memories of my first day of college but I know I was the most nervous I had ever been. I had bought myself a giant folder for any handouts that were given, a pencil case full of pens and felt tips and a diary to note any assignment due dates. On the first day I’m sure we would have focused on getting to know everyone in the class and spoke about what the course consists of.

 The treatments I learnt during level 1 were; Basic Manicures & Pedicures, Skincare, Themed face painting, Makeup and Creating an image. I attended college 3 days a week and had a mixture of 3 hour practical sessions and theory classes. I knew straight away that this was the career for me as I picked everything up so easily- the practical lessons were educational yet fun, the theory was very interesting to me and I loved writing assignments. It also became apparent that this course was difficult, the work load was plentiful and it involved a lot of creativity. One of my favourite things about level 1 was moodboards. We had two ‘Create an Image’ assessments- I did an 80s Bridal look and a Fairy. It allowed us to use our creativity to plan an outfit, hair and makeup look for our chosen theme. We also trained in face painting, which was something different that I didn’t expect from beauty therapy. It was messy, entertaining and quite hilarious to make my friends look like spider man or a mythical tiger.  This year we had a week for enrichment which involved training in extra courses which was a great opportunity to fill up our CVs. I chose to do a makeup artistry course and gel nails.

In order to achieve a Level 1 Beauty Therapy Diploma we had to put together a portfolio which had paperwork for every practical assessment we had gained. We would have pre and final assessments and our final assessment grade (pass, merit or distinction) would be the overall grade on our certificate. We did not work with many 'real' clients during level 1 as we mainly practiced on fellow students, so going into Level 2 I was nervous to know that all assessments had to be done on paying customers.
Following the completion of level 1 I attended an interview to progress to the next level of Beauty Therapy. In this interview two of the lecturers asked a series of questions regarding why I wanted to continue training as a therapist and what my plans for the future were. I expressed my love for the industry and that I hope to continue on Level 2 and 3 and eventually have my own business in the future. A few days later, in the post, I received my offer of placement for Level 2 Beauty therapy and I couldn't have been happier.

After a fabulous summer it was time to go back to college and begin my second year of studies. We had a new uniform and a kit with all new products and tools. I arrived at class with my perfectly neat bun and a makeup look I had spent an hour on, ready to show my tutors how excited I was for this new year.
During level 2 we studied; Manicure, Pedicure, Facials, Eye Treatments (Brow & Lash Tint, Lash Extensions, Brow Shaping) Waxing (Bikini Line, Half/ Full Leg, Underarm, Forearm, Lip and Chin, Eyebrow), Create An Image and Makeup Application.

I think that Level 2 was a great year and I made some wonderful friends in the class. Much like Level 1 we had a portfolio with all of our practical assessments and exam results/ assignments. This year there were many more practical assessments and an exam for each subject, so I knew that I had to work extremely hard.  Most importantly, we had to work on 'real' clients. I had always been quite a shy, timid girl therefore having to work on clients was a little daunting to me. Nonetheless, I took on the challenge as I thought eventually it would become second nature, which it did. I wanted to do every client possible as I loved pampering them and getting good feedback after my treatments. I loved doing manicures/ pedicures, eyebrow/lash tinting and facials however I must admit that most students weren't looking forward to waxing as I think we were all a little bit reserved. I completely loved facials, still it did take me a while to learn the full massage routine and my hands did ache for the first few times practicing it.

For my Create an Image I chose a Unicorn. I spent ages creating a moodboard, I bought bright pink spray on hair dye and a unicorn headband. I had a pleasant time creating my look this year as I felt my makeup skills had improved greatly and I had so much more confidence in myself as a therapist. This year for enrichment I picked Sienna X spray tanning and Eyelash perming which again were great additions to the CV.

When it came to exam season I was apprehensive to say the least. Exams had never been my strong point and the hardest part was revising and not knowing what questions they may even ask. I think I passed half the exams and ending up doing written assignments for the ones I failed. I didn't mind though, as I love writing and assignments were quite enjoyable for me. 

At the beginning of the year I was concerned about finishing the course in time, knowing how many practical assessments we had to complete, however I got through them rapidly (because of my eagerness to take clients) and ended up being the first to finish. That allowed me to sit and revise ready for Level 3.

I attended my Interview for Level 3 with two of my tutors and unravelled that even though I hadn't been offered a place yet, truth be told I had already been revising. At my college there were three different routes to Level 3. It was either; Electrical, Spa or Media Makeup Artistry. I spoke to a variety of the previous Level 3 students whilst modelling for them during my second year as I wanted advice to which route I should choose. I had always had a huge passion for skincare and facials therefore the Electrical route seemed the obvious choice. When speaking to one of the students she explained how thankful she was that she chose the electrical route nevertheless she made it evident how difficult the course was. Now finishing the course I can also accentuate how strenuous and demanding the course can be, although It has been my most favourite year out of them all.

The treatments were studied were; Electrical Facials (High Frequency, Microcurrent, Microdermabrasion, Faradic, Galvanic, Vacuum Suction), Electrical Body Treatments (Microcurrent, Faradic, Galvanic, Vacuum Suction, High Frequency), Body Massage and Electrolysis. As you can see, that meant a whole lot of learning and training for these new electrical machines. It seemed impossible at the beginning of the year, yet after hours of work in the library I am now knowledgeable and trained to perform every one of those treatments and I couldn't be prouder. This year we were lucky enough to have 4 three hour practical sessions, one of those being time to perform and perfect our level 2 treatments. I found this to be beneficial to enhance my quality of treatment ready for going out into industry. We also had a theory class in which we learnt all of the anatomy and physiology however that simply was not enough time to learn it all, which indicated the importance of home study. My portfolio this year was as heavy as ever with all of my practical assessments and in the same way as before we had exams for every single topic. I can contemptuously say that I have passed every single exam and I could not be more thrilled after how diligent I have been. It truly shows how hard work gives results. Let's Talk: Foundations

A question I always get asked is "What foundation are you wearing" or "What's the best foundation" but unfortunately there is no quick answer. When it comes to collecting makeup, foundations are a category that has quickly become out of hand. I love buying and testing new foundations which means I certainly have a large collection of them. However, today I've decided to discuss with you my most worn and ultimate favourite bases; Bare in mind that everyone's skin is different and a product that works wonders on myself may not be the perfect match on you. I have a normal skin with a tendency to become oily in the TZone therefore I typically prefer a liquid or stick foundation with a matte finish and a medium to full coverage.  But without further a do, if you would like to know my top 7 foundations then keep on reading...

Nars Sheer Glow

For those girls with dry or dehydrated skin this is the perfect foundation for you due to its luminous and dewy finish, however I feel as though it could work on most skin types. It has great coverage and gives a flawless finish even with any large pores, texture, dry patches or blemishes. My prefered method of application is with a beauty blender and a little goes a long way with this foundation which is a good thing since it lasts a very long time. I have it in the shade 'Mont Blanc' which is a great match and I dont find it to oxidise throughout the day. Once set with powder it's longwearing and makes my skin look simply perfect. I have purchased this foundation 3 times now which suggests it's a favourite; my only complaint would be the separate purchase for the pump that i feel should be included since it's a fairly expensive product. 

Mac Studio Fix

This product has been a trusty makeup companion for years and has been repurchased countless times. It's my go-to foundation that has a medium, buildable coverage that is also fairly matte, so it helps to combat my oily areas. I wouldn't recommend this foundation to those with a dry skin as I feel it could cling to dry patches nonetheless in my opinion it would work perfectly for oily/combination skin types. As a very pale person, I wear NC15 which i find to be a great colour match. I choose to either apply this with a dampened beauty blender or my Artis brush and I am able to achieve a perfect finish. Again this foundation doesnt come with the pump and you have to purchase it separately but it's such a minor setback to how much I love this product.

Too Faced Born This Way

This is a great foundation for those with combination/dry skin due to it's moisturising factors and it is also fragrance free making it a great option for anyone with sensitive skin.It works well to cover uneven skin tone with its medium to full coverage and I love the packaging of this product which luckily comes with a pump. I like to apply this with a dampened beauty blender and I am left with a beautiful dewy looking base that once powdered stays put for hours. I have it in the shade 'Snow' which I find to be the perfect colour match for me. 

Loreal True Match

This is my favourite drugstore foundation that I find compares to my more expensive bases. It is drugstore which suggests it's very reasonably priced so if you're on a budget and are looking for a product that performs like a high end foundation for half the price this could be the one for you. Again, this would be the perfect foundation for those with combination skin. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone with overly dry or extremely oily skin as it feel it might not suit you. I find this to be an incredibly smooth foundation with a satin finish and brilliant coverage. The texture is so silky when applied to the skin with a beauty blender and it really blends so easily. This is the best budget foundation I've found for lasting power, once set it can wear for hours.

Estee Lauder Double Wear

This is the foundation I will wear when I know I'm having a long day and I want my makeup to still be intact by the evening. This is hands down the best product for staying power and it's a great medium to full coverage foundation that is suitable for oily, combination or normal skin. For those with a more dry skin types I would perhaps suggest using the hydrating primer or thick moisturiser before using as I think It could possibly cling to any dry areas you may have present. A little goes a long way with this and I enjoy applying it with either a beauty blender or my Artis brush in order to get a flawless finish. In terms of finish I wouldn't say it's either matte or dewy and i dont find it to oxidise throughout the day. The packaging is very classic and beautiful but it doesnt come with a pump so I actually use a Mac pump on this foundation!

Makeup Forever HD Foundation Stick

For those days when I want a quick and easy makeup look this is my go-to foundation. When applied with the Zoeva Buffer brush it takes a matter of seconds to apply the stick foundation straight onto the face and buff it into the skin. It's very creamy and is simply a dream to blend, without effort you are able to get a medium coverage with a satin finish that looks smooth and flawless. This foundation works great on my combination skin although I can imagine it would stick to dry patches so be aware if you have dry skin that you will need to use a hydrating primer beforehand. I was worried that this might enhance or settle into my pores although it actually glides over them making my complexion look perfect. It definitely needs setting with a powder to ensure it doesnt slip around the skin or separate after a few hours but once set it lasts for a good 7 hours.

Mac Studio Sculpt

This is a very creamy foundation with a medium buildable coverage which is hydrating and claims to be water resistant also. It 's a great foundation for dry to combination skin however if you are overly oily i'm not sure this would work for you. It's the perfect colour match and i find it to look natural whilst still providing great coverage and hiding any imperfections and redness. It's easy to apply with a beauty blender however the consistency of the foundation is quite thick and sticky so it definitely needs setting with a powder. You also only need a small amount of product so it's certainly going to last you a long time.

Chanel Poudre Universelle Libra | Review

Today I decided to bring you a mini review on this Chanel Powder which I have been testing for the past few weeks. Before trying this I was using the RCMA no colour powder however the packaging soon became an annoyance and I'd been on the lookout for a new loose powder to replace that one. I then came across the Chanel Poudre Universelle Libra Loose Powder and figured I would give it a try. So, without further a do here are my thoughts on this product. 

First of all, it goes without saying that the packaging is simply stunning as all Chanel products are, It's most certainly a dressing table decor piece. My prefered method of application is with a beauty blender (although it does come with a Chanel Powder Puff); I like to press it into the skin as I find it ensures I stay matte all day and it keeps my makeup in place for absolute hours. The product itself is very finely milled which allows for a smooth finish without looking cakey, thick or dry. It has a natural finish that is light and weightless although i find it very mattifying without looking flat. Any other powder products i apply on top always blend seamlessly and I never have to re-touch throughout the day. I have it in the shade 20 Clair and it's a great match for my NC15 skin tone.The package itself is quite large, containing what seems to be an inexhaustible amount of product which I doubt I'll be using up anytime soon; It has a subtle scent that isn't noticeable upon application. 

The first day that i tried this foundation I wore it with my Makeup Forever HD foundation stick and after being at work all day in the heat I got home and my base was still flawless. This for me is a true test of a powder as it's very important for my base to stay matte and to ensure the oil is kept at bay especially on my T Zone. It works wonderfully to set my concealer ensuring that it doesnt crease and looks impeccable. Because of that I would most certainly recommend this powder despite the fact it's pricey I for sure think it's worth it. This product has now taken place of the RCMA and Laura Mercier powders as I honestly think it's the best!
