My Favourite Mac Nude Lipsticks

In the past few months I have become a huge mac lipstick fan and especially of their nude lipsticks. I very rarely wear anything other than nudes, unless I find my outfit better suits a plum or red in the Autumn & Winter seasons although nude shades pretty much go with anything and look very natural for day to day wear. MAC is the first place I call for lipsticks, and their selection of nude lipsticks is enough to make any make-up lover drool. So, today I'm going to share with you all my favourites.

From left to right....

Velvet Teddy
This was my first ever mac lipstick and most definitely my favourite. Velvet Teddy is a matte formulae lipstick with a beigy-pink colour which can be a tad drying although I still continue to wear it because I love it so much. I wear this lipstick almost every other day because it is gorgeous! Definitely one that would work with all skin tones.

 Twig
I love this lipstick! It's a deeper pinky mauve with slight brown undertones. This is my Kylie lip. It's satin but not too shiny with just a nice sheen and If you want it matte you can just blot.  Its creamy formula makes it comfortable to wear (it doesn't even dry out my lips) and it smells amazing as all mac lipsticks do.

Honey Love
This is a matte lipstick with enough colour to keep it natural without making you look like your lips blend in with your face.  I can't imagine many skin tones that would suit this colour on its own because it's so pale. I'm convinced that Honey Love is one of those colours that is meant to be used either with a slightly darker liner or used with another matte lipstick to make ombre/3D fuller lips.

Whirl

I've never owned the lip liner but I gave into the whole Kylie Jenner craze and decided to buy this lipstick.  I absolutely love the colour and the formula isn't as drying. On my fair skin this is a dirty rose with a hint of brown which isn't something I would normally wear but I absolutely love it. This matte isn't hard to wear the way some mattes are either.

Modesty
This is my newest mac lipstick and whenever I want something on my lips that's as natural looking as possible but still gives a "finished" look to my overall make-up I reach for Modesty first thing. It's a beautiful muted neutral pink shade with just a hint of peachiness. I feel as though I can apply it without a mirror and not have to worry if the application is messy.

What are your favourite nude lipsticks? Let me know.

Current (Winter) Beauty Wishlist

Every time pay-day comes around I convince myself I need more make-up which obviously isn't the case;I've been accumulating a large wishlist on my phone so I thought it was about time I shared with you some of my wants and wishes for this winter.

Clinique Bottom Lash Mascara:

I've read great reviews about this product and seem to find applying my current mascaras to my bottom lashes quite difficult as it tends to smudge. This mascara is supposed to apply easily and last well without flaking so it's something I would love to try out.

Georgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation:

I'm a foundation collector and I have heard so much hype about this product. The packaging looks beautiful and from the reviews I've read this is meant to be a fantastic product. However the price is quite steep.

Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer:

Another product I love to collect are concealers and this has been within my wishlist for a while now. I do have several concealers that I'm currently using nevertheless I love to try new ones in case I find something that works better to cover my atrocious dark circles.

Charlotte Tilbury Dolce Vita Palette:

Compared to other palettes you can get this one is extremely expensive but there's just something about it that makes me want it. The colours are neutral, easy to wear and very versatile and from what I've heard they are very pigmented and easy to blend too. Charlotte Tilbury's packaging is always stunning and after trying a few of her products I know the quality will be great.

Caudalie Beauty Elixer:

I've just recently been getting into beauty mists/setting sprays and this one seems interesting to me. Its a hydrating/ moisturising facial mist that you can apply throughout to day to refresh your make-up which is something that I would love to try.

Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette:

Ever since I received my first naked palette last Christmas I have wanted to try them all. I currently own the Naked 1 and Naked Smoky palettes and this is another that I would love to add to my collection.

Tom Ford Lip Colour in 'First Time':

Dark lips are a big love for the Winter season however I have been loving nudes at the moment so this is a definite want for me. I've never owned a Tom Ford lipstick or anything from that brand actually so I would love to try something out especially there lipsticks as they look beautiful.

What are some beauty products that you would love to try this winter?
