January Makeup Love List

Today I thought I would gather together a few of my current beauty favourites for January. This month I've been gravitating towards these products a great deal so I thought you might like to know what I have been loving.

Charlotte Tilbury Film Star Bronze & Glow:

As I have very pale skin I was worried that the contour shade would look too orange and muddy on my skin but I couldn't have been more wrong. This is my new favourite contouring palette. The highlighting powder is a beautiful champagne shimmer that is subtle and versatile.  I think it would make a great eye-shadow duo too. Also, the packaging is stunning and very high quality.

Zoeva Smoky Palette:

As you can see this Zoeva Palette is very neutral with a few dark shades in the mix. I mentioned this product in my 'Perfect Palette Tag' so I'm only going to touch on it lightly however I have been using it alot throughout January. The shades are all really wearable and there's next to no fall out. There's a good selection of both metallic and matte shadows and they all blend easily. I'm definitely going to be buying more Zoeva Palettes because the quality of the shadows is outstanding.

Mac Paint Pot (Painterly): Being the beauty junkie that I am after hearing so many bloggers rave about this product I had to try it for myself and now I feel as though I will never do a make-up look without it again. A paint pot is a solid crème base that mimics the colour of skin tone. I like to apply this with my finger and pat it all over my lids and brow bone as an eye shadow base. It helps my shadows to blend smoothly and help them to stay in place all day without any creasing.

Stila Smudge Stick Waterproof Eye Liner (Damsel):
I don't know why but I never used to reach for eye-liners especially because of the inconvenience with having to sharpen them all the time however after receiving this one with the 'In the Light Palette' I've been wearing it everyday. The Stila Smudge Stick Waterproof Eye Liners are mechanical eye-liners that need to be twisted to release more product. This eye-liner is incredibly smooth and buttery in texture and once applied you have a minute or so to blend it to create a smoky look and once set they do not move.

Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat (Pillow Talk):
I was hesitant whether or not to purchase this because of the steep price tag however I adore it and it has soon made a holy grail status for me. The colour is perfect to get that fuller lips look as it matches the shade of my lips well and It also lasts on the lips for a very good time. I'm also glad that I purchased the sharpener to go with it as it does blunt very quickly but that may be because I've been using it everyday.

The Balm Mary-Lou Manizer:

This highlighter is simply beautiful, I don't think I can rave about it enough. It's a soft champagne shade with a gold sheen; It very pigmented so I would definitely not call it a subtle highlight.I feel like its going to last forever since you need only the slightest amount to get a beautiful shimmery glow.Overall, I would buy this again and again. I have sidelined pretty much all of my other highlighters because this is the best one I currently own and have been using it almost everyday this month.

Clinique Blush (02 Defining Berries):

I have been loving using this blusher throughout January as it gives my skin an illuminating finish. You can use each shade separately to blush, contour or highlight, or you can swirl them together for a glowing blush look. It actually makes a nice eye-shadow too as the textures are really soft and beautiful.

So that's it, my beauty favourites for January. Let me know in the comments what make-up items you've been loving this month.
